About Brocante Antiques

Brocante Antiques started trading in 1988 initially exhibiting at Antique Fairs in Surrey UK specialising in items from the Art Nouveau period including lighting , copper and brassware (especially WAS Benson) plus early porcelain and Sheffield Plate (1750 – 1850)

In 1992, we took the opportunity to purchase a very special Retail Outlet in Oatlands Village near Weybridge Surrey (Oatlands was the original home of the Duke of York). This is a small but pretty early Victorian house with many original features. There are two showrooms connected by a spiral staircase. Acquiring these premises enabled us to expand our stock to include fine ENGLISH furniture covering the period 1750 to 1850.

Brocante Antiques is the only true antique shop in this area of Surrey including not only Weybridge but also Cobham, Esher, Oxshott, Walton on Thames, Woking and West Byfleet. Unlike many others, we do not deal in Reproduction of any kind but have maintained a loyal customer base throughout the UK built on our reputation to provide quality genuine antiques at reasonable prices.

Brocante also sell from a Display Cabinet in the Oatlands Park Hotel and has a display of fine Silver in the Cedars Antique Centre at Hartley Wintney in Hampshire.
